About Kythnos
Thermia was the old name for Kythnos, taken from the hot springs at Loutra on the northeast coast. Two springs surface there at 52 and 38 degrees, meeting a few meters before the shoreline. Navy Blue Sea Transfers arrive at Merichas or the Loutra marina, both a short run from Milos across the western Cyclades. Dryopida sits hidden in a ravine, invisible from the water, and roofs its houses in ceramic tile. Below it, Katafyki cave holds 600 meters of natural passage and a further two kilometers of iron mining gallery. Kolona joins the island to Agios Loukas by a sandbar with a beach on each side. Yacht Transfers reach that sandbar directly, where the road gives up.
Things to Do in Kythnos

Soak where the two Loutra springs merge at the shoreline, a few meters short of the sea. The hydrotherapy center beside them dates to 1836, built under Queen Amalia.
